About Our Name

In 2008, Maria Garcia and her husband, Ignacio Becerra, opened "Las Cavanas" on Rockfish Gap Turnpike in the small town of Crozet, Virginia.

 

"Las Cavanas" means, "little houses in the mountains", a name chosen to honor the land and the family they left behind in Guadalajara, Mexico.
